DFT to launch filmed roundtable series

Next week, Development Finance Today will be launching its first-ever filmed roundtable event in association with Howard Kennedy.

The inaugural invitation-only roundtable – which is supported by United Trust Bank and Iron Bridge Finance – will be held on 24th April at Howard Kennedy’s offices in London Bridge.

In addition to the two development finance lenders and a representative from Howard Kennedy, the event will be attended by two brokers and two developers and chaired by Development Finance Today editor Beth Fisher.

The attendees will discuss why joint ventures, mezzanine and equity funding should be considered, with an aim to gain insights from a range of perspectives in the development finance chain.

The agenda will include how developers can benefit from different types of funding and how much a developer’s experience can affect a deal.

The 45-minute session will be filmed and published as a three-minute highlights reel on Development Finance Today, and will be hosted on the new Roundtables page following the event – so watch this space.

Development Finance Today will be running future roundtable sessions on topics such as the student accommodation market, planning policy and reform, and the construction skills shortage.

If you are interested in getting involved with any of these events, or would like to suggest different topics, please contact Development Finance Today’s editor Beth Fisher at [email protected] or on 0203 818 0165.
